Sunsetsplash purred back and nuzzled the apprentice, looking up only when black fur caught her attention. " Oh, I've missed you so much this past moon!" Leafpaw purred, licking Sunsetsplash's cheek. Purring, she let herself fall onto her back, hugging her daughter. " Mother!!" Sunsetsplash turned to see a little grey-and-white cat leap onto her. She wasn't scrawny she was lithe, that's all. " Scrawny." Flowerwish said simply, wrinkling her nose. Sunsetsplash turned to look at the pretty grey she-cat. " I must admit I didn't think she'd be able to do it." " She did, Darkfleck." Flowerwish sighed. His pelt had a ton of little black spots, and his green eyes were shining with pride.
" Yes, she did admirably, didn't she?" A small white tom meowed. " Well done, Sunsetsplash, for completing your prophecy!" You are not dead yet." Flowerwish purred, padding forward to rub her muzzle against Sunsetsplash's nose.
